Legal Question in Family Law in California

If i filed paperwork for custody of my son, without an order to stay in California, but she did not show up to Mediation, and then moved out of state with the child and no notice to me or the courts, what should I do? I have no telephone number or address to where she is. And she has full custody. Does that matter seeing as we are in the middle of a custody battle?

Have you filed a police report? If they refuse to file anything, tell them you want to file an informational report. Under the circumstances described, I would file ex parte for custody of the child. Even if you don't know where the child is now, you may later, and you don't want a lack of taking action to be used against you.
