Legal Question in Family Law in California

I filed for a restraining order against my ex-boyfriend and it was denined because his attorney got my 1328 emails and 97 letters thrown out. This man has stalked me for ten months now and because he is a state level Politician I believe the court went light on him. I want to refile. How long do I have to wait to try again? I didn't and couldn't afford an attorney so I was by myself and made mistakes. Also, this was filed as a Domestic Violence RO should I now try and file for a Civil RO?

Check with the local organization that helps victims of domestic violence.They will have counselors and may even be able to provide an attorney to help you. It appears that you leave in Davis. Check with the university law school if they have clinic where you can obtain help.
