Legal Question in Family Law in California
Here is what i would like to know i filed a restraining order on a girlfriend oct 17 2007 that same day she filed one on me we went to court in cali and the judge grant me the restraining order and dismissed hers the order was for 3 years she was pregnant at the time and the child was born. here is my question in oct 2010 she filed another restraining order on me useing all of the same things she said in 2007 case but she filed this in the state of alabama i have never lived in alabama thats where she lives. i have always lived in calif the court paper work came to me in the us mail stated that i had to be in the court in alabama i didnt not show up so the judge gave her a 1 year restraing order and our three year old daughter one agaist me was this legal the restraining order in calif had expired the day she filed hers in alabama.Is there any thing i can do to get this lift with out going to alabama.

You will probably have to consult with a Family Law attorney in Alabama to try and get the restraining order set aside if you have any intentions on having visitation with your daughter.

You are going to have to speak to an Alabama attorney, not a California attorney.
The other answers are correct. I would add that you can't just not show up for court, no matter where it is.
