Legal Question in Family Law in California

Filing??

My case was filed in Sacramento County since 1994 re-opened in 2006 settled. Ex lives out of state, always has, has filed for medical reinbursments etc. in El Dorado County where I live. I want case to stay in Sacramento County. What do I need to do?

Move to Sacramento County. You can oppose her motion to move the case to El Dorado County. Tell the court in Sacramento that the court there has substantial information about the case. Also that it is more convenient for your to attend court in Sacramento county and in as much she lives out of the state there is no inconvenience to her if the case remains in Sacramento county.
