Filing for custody...

I am a mother of two small children. I currently live in San Diego and my husband is in central CA. No custody papers have been filed as of yet, but he is attempting to keep my children from me. What is the fastest and least expensive way to file for custody?

You should file for a dissolution of your marriage or a legal separation. This includes a request for a child custody and child sharing. You should do that immediately so there is stability in your children's lives. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
