filing a paternity case

I have an existing visitation order thru a DV case filed in mendocino county; the vistiation order is thru mediation and I need to know if I can file a paternity case in another county where i reside now?

No you already have a court order finding that you are the father. YOu would have to file a motion requesting that the case be transferred to the county where you live.
