Financial Responsibility

In a dissolution, if the husband keeps one car which is in both names, and the wife keeps one car, which is in the husband's name, what is involved in changing the financial responsibilities, i.e., to put the car the wife kept in her name and removing her name from the other? And can these changes happen after filing Joint Petition, or only after the Final Judgement?

Just file change of ownership papers at the DMV. it can be done anytime, no reason to wait if you two have already decided who is getting what car.
