Legal Question in Family Law in California
Financial responsibility
My husband continues to threaten to move out of our home and leave me and our 2 children; he tentatively is planning on moving to our triplex. I am wondering if he does move out;what will be his financial responsibility to me & our children? I work full time and earn a gross check weekly of $550.; he works full time for the state of Calif. and his gross is approx. $4455/mo.

Re: Financial responsibility
The state of California uses a statutory mandatory guidline formula to determine Child Support. The guidline goes by who is the Custodial Parent (person who has the most time with the children) income, and the percentage of time each person has the children. If he it threatening to leave you I assume you would be the custodial parent a be entitled to Child Support. If you did a divorce then your community property and debts would be divided by the Court.
Re: Financial responsibility
In California, we use something called "guideline" for calulating child support. The guideline takes into account income, the custodial time share of the children with each parent and various other factors. Your posting does not contain the information about what the time share would be if you split up. You might also be able to collect some spousal support because it appears his income is higher than yours.
