Financial Responsibility for Spouse's Debts

I am 54 and working. If I marry my boyfriend, who is in his 70's and retired, and he should need nursing home care in the future, am I responsible for those bills? I own property in another state, could that be in jeopardy?

no, just keep it in your name only. it is your seperate property.
