Legal Question in Family Law in California

I can't find my husband, he has had no contact with our family for a very long time. I have been unable to get a finalized divorce because he doesn't respond to any paperwork. What do I do to get my divorce

You might need to consult with a local attorney, to help you finalize the paperwork. You can proceed by default since he hasn't responded to the paperwork. However the steps become more complicated if the marriage was of a long duration. You can contact the local family law facilitator in your court house to get self help information for self represented individuals.

Please contact a lawyer in your area before taking any legal action.

Good luck.
