I have a copy of my birth certificate and I also have the last known address of where he used to live. I wanted to know were can I find some other sort of information and how do I use what little I know now to help me find him? Thankyou for your time

Re: Finding a family member

Try the internet. First check the national telephone directory. Then try some of the search engines. Check with members of his family. You may be able to get more information from your birth certificate.

Re: Finding a family member

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that you can find him on your own regardless of the information you have, especially without having access to the skip tracing resources or information that most attorneys, private investigators or creditors have. As a "layperson" this is a very difficult task to say the least, but you can start by looking in free online directories like 411.com, netdetective, etc...Just be prepared for a lot of frustration often times, especially if the your father may not want to be found per se. If you would like prompt, affordable assistance in this matter, contact us directly today for a free phone consultation. Regardless of what route you take, we wish you nothing but the BEST in finding your father! God bless.
