Legal Question in Family Law in California

Findings and order after hearing

If a ''Findings and Order After Hearing'' is

written up and signed by both parties and

later a mistake is found in it which favors

one party, is it still binding? What's the

process for correction?

Thank you.

In a general sense, it depends upon the "mistake". If it is clerical error, there is a basis to file a "motion to correct clerical error".

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
