how to finnish my divorce

My ex wife filed for divorce and never finnished..... I responded to it but it never went to the judge to finnish.... how do I finnish it on my own?? what do I file or request at court?? Since I am not the pettitioner , she was the petitioner originally..... but now I want to end it and she doesn't.

It's difficult to give advise as to what to do next without knowing what's already been done. You need to go to court and find out what has been filed so far. You can go to a law library and look up these steps as to what to file next. But you don't have to wait for her to get a judgment, necessarily.

Riverside court offers a family law assistance center that can help you with the forms required. You can pickup were it was left off at and finish with her agreement or without. Looks like you are local so feel free to contact the office if you would like some assistance.
