If the FL-180 is signed by the judge or commissioner, it is your divorce judgment. It is final unless the court reserved jurisdiction to determine other issues, in which case it is not final as to those reserved issues. There is no separate certificate.

Make sure that 4(a) on the Judgment (FL-180) is checked. Whatever date is listed is the date you are officially divorced as that is the date your marital status is termianted. You should also have a Notice of Entry of Judgment (Form FL-190) that states your judgment was entered and the day your marital status was terminated. If your marital status wasn't terminated, you're not legally divorced. Good Luck.
