Foreign Support Order
I have a case in CA,but the order is from Canada.The order states it is provisional and will be of no force and effect untill confirmed by the courts in CA,This is per Canada.The DA in CA want's to collect arrears from the time of filing in Canada not the filing in CA.The case worker in Canada called the DA and told them arrears don't start till I go to court,They told him to bad we inforce it are way.Is this legal?

If a court made a lawful order for you to pay support and you did not pay the support you owe it. It does not matter if the court order was in Canada or in the USA.
