Legal Question in Family Law in California
full custody
Can I move out of state with my son if I
have full custody and he is with me
majority of the time?

Re: full custody
My advice would be to ask the other parent for their consent for the move. As a part of the consent a written plan for continued visitation. Taking the child from the state would most probably interfere with his visitation. There is a high probability that he could obtain a court order that you return the child to California.
Re: full custody
I would first check with the terms of your custody order to see what the terms are of relocation. Typically if you have sole custody you can move without the other parties consent.
Good luck. Please consult with a local attorney prior to taking any legal action.
