Unless he has been declared unfit for some reason, custody will go to the father automatically as a matter of law. You cannot "will" your children to anyone. The best you can do is make sure your wishes are part of your will or final instructions and hope that if the father cannot care for them the court who appoints a guardian agrees with you.
