Garnishing Wages
I am divorced from a woman in New York State. If I marry again can she garnish my new wife's wages for child support?

Re: Garnishing Wages
Child support is taken from wages, yours, first and then from community property. If she places her wages in a bank account with your name on it, the money in that account is available for payment of child support. You should contact a family law attorney and discuss your options, and risks.
