Legal Question in Family Law in California
She gave up
I've been married 2 1/2 yrs and its been a bumpy ride. I am currently unemployed because of a disability, and receive not much money from it. Going into the marraige we knew I was going to have a few surgeries and that it was going to be a while before I could get back to work. We managed to buy a home and get into debt. We changed the title in her name because creditors were threatening to take the home away. Now shes kicking me out because she's tired of me depending on her. She doesnt want to work it out or go see a counselor. She insists on me leaving. I know I didnt put in as much money as she did but what am I entitled to? I do little odd jobs here and there and give all the money I make to her. I cant afford to get a place of my own so I dont know what to do. Am I entitled to alimony?

Re: She gave up
based on the facts you cite I would say you have a pretty good chance of getting some spousal support.
