Legal Question in Family Law in California

My girlfriend needs a divorce

My girlfriend has been legally seperated for 4 years and her husband has been making her life miserable. She has 2 boys that he is ruining.He has lots of money and she has none. What can she do without subjecting the boys to court? She doesnt know im doing or she would be very upset with me.She is very independent and doesnt want me to help in any way.

She can file for a divorce without subjecting her children to court. In fact she should keep her children as far from the proceedings as possible.
