Legal Question in Family Law in California

My Girlfriend is 16 and pregnant her mother will not allow me too see her at all , and has not allowed me contact with her. What rights do we have ?

If you are more than three years older than her it is statutory rape so you better not upset the girl's mother. Less than three years it is a misdemeanor instead of felony and the DA normally will not prosecute. Your situation is why many adults consider people under 18 to still be basically children. If you are going to have sex you better use as much protection as you can. As long as your girlfriend lives in her mother's house she has to obey her mother's reasonable rules. And getting married to have more rights is stupid as neither of you is ready for marriage at that young of an age. You have messed up your girlfriend's life by forcing her to give up half her teenage years. You have almost no rights.
