If you suspect that the child is yours then you should file paperwork in court to seek that the paternity of the child be determined and that you are the father. You can request that genetic testing be performed to determine if you are the biological father of the child. Most likely the mother will simply confess by the time the child is born and you will either believe her or take her to court and get a court ordered genetic test. You should determine paternity early on or you may lose rights later on to being the father of the child, if you are absent for long periods of time.
