Ex Girlfriend has threatened to leave the country if I break up with her

We have a 13 month old son together and she has told me tha if we break up that she will take my son and leave the country and I won't see him ever again. What can I do?

You should file a paternity action to establish the child as your. When you file the action there is an automatic restraining order that orders that neither parent remove the child from the State. I would suggest that you talk to a family law attorney concerning all of the facts to help you decide whether you should take mare dramatic action. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

File a paternity action and run to court to get a child abduction prevention order.
