giving guardianship to grandparent
My 15 year old daughters grandma want to move to Washington and take my daughter with her. I dont have a problem with this. What it is that I want to know is do I have to go to court to give her guardianship or am I able to do this without having to go to court?

Re: giving guardianship to grandparent
In order to obtain letters of guardianship, one has to go to court and obtain a court order. On the other hand, the grandma is not required to have letters of guardianship if the custody is voluntary.
