giving up parental rights in calif

if a child is legally adoptedb after both biological parents have surrendered their parental rights,can a grandparent demand visitation or attempt to invalidate the adoption? the adoption took place 5 years ago with no contact from the parents or grandparents

Once the parents have surrendered their parental rights and the child is adopted the child's legal parents are the adoptive parents. The adopted child loses the right to inherit from the biological parents or through the biological parents. Grandparents have few rights to contact with a grandchild. You have no obligation to allow the biological grandparent contact with the child.
