Legal Question in Family Law in California
Is it good idea for a father 53 years old living at his moms , ( same house but it has attached studio apartment) She lives in main house. at present he is unemployed. He did not see his kids for 8 yrs. They were visiting the grandmother for a few years but she kept it a secret that he lived there. saying if his estranged wife knew he was there she wouldn't e able to see the kids. There was an issue between Grandma and the ex that exposed dad living there and secretly seeing one of his children (14 yr old) leading to no more visits. Should grandma insist and pay for attorney so dad can divorce and ask for joint custody.
