Legal Question in Family Law in California
Good morning,
I am a father of a 7yr old boy which I share custody with his mother. Since our last court hearing on August 7th, mother moved out of BV Hills school district and son was forced out of the school as we'll. As of today, mother has not secured permanent housing nor has she taken son to school. He has been out of school for about 4 months now. He spends days of the week at a McDonalds playground. She claims he is being homeschooled. What can I do to make sure he does not continues to miss school?

You should request the teaching plan mother is using to compare that to what your son should be learning if he was in a traditional school setting. If she refuses to give you this information or if her teaching plan is inadequate, it's time to return to court to address this issue.
