Grandaughter
My daughter is having some problems with cps
and I was told by the person that my grandaughter is staying with while her mother has been on vacation that they CPS has come to her house and told her that they wanted to take the baby, and that the only reason they didn't take the baby was because my daughter had left a note stating that this person could take her the doctors if she needed too.cps is talling this lady if she doesn't take gardin ship of the baby she they are going to take her from roomers they have heard about her mother is this possiable?

Yes. CPS often acts on reports of child abuse or endangerment. Your daughter should immediately retain an attorney, with experience in dependency court. Then she needs to determine what reasons are being given for removing the child from her custody. She can take some preemptive action by taking a parenting course. Taking a parenting course is not an admission of bad parenting, but shows the desire to become a better parent.
