Legal Question in Family Law in California

My Grandchildren

My daughter is seperated (not legally) from her husband. He is not a citizen yet. She wants to move to Colorado w/their 2 daughters because she cannot afford to live there anymore. There are no legal custody agreements as of yet. If she leaves without his permission can she be charged w/kidnapping?

Maybe, it would be advisable to get the approval of the court before making such a move. You should have your daughter contact a Family Law Attorney ASAP.
