Legal Question in Family Law in California

Grandparent Rights

My son & daughter inlaw live in Co..Two weeks ago she came home packed up her & the kids things and left. My son hasn't seen or heard a word for her or the kids. Is there anything I can do as a grandparent. I'm going nuts not knowing if they are ok or not. I called her parents up and they wouldn't say anything to me. I live in Ca.

Re: Grandparent Rights

Grandparents have few rights with grandchildren. Your son will to investigate to determine what course of action is available to him in Colorado. In California her conduct would be considered to be a criminal act. The District attorney would then take action to locate mother and the children. This may not be true in Colorado.
