Are the rights of a grandparent terminated if the grandchild has been adopted?

Re: Grandparent Rights

Grandparents don't have many rights. In California, any right to

visitation they may be able to get is terminated, unless the adoption

is by a stepparent or grandparent of the child. Family Code Section 3102.

In California and most other states, the right to inheritance from you

will end, although you can modify a will or trust to provide specifically

for the child.
