as a grandparent do i have rights to visition

my son and his girlfriend had a baby in dec and the whole nine months she lived with us and i took her to doctor appointments and was even there for the c-section and her parents were nowhere to be found. i grew to love my grandchild before she was even here and to have her taken away and not see her but only around five times is breaking me.

Yes, grandparents can ask the court to order visitation.

Grandparents do have rights to visitation, which cannot be blocked unless the parents are lawfully married. Because you used the term girlfriend, I assume that the parents of your grandchild are not married.
