Legal Question in Family Law in California

Grandparent visitation

My son recently had a child with his girlfriend/unmarried. The baby is being given to a married couple/friends of theirs, no relation.

Both me and my ex husband are being denied any visitation rights to the child.

Do I have legal rights to see my grandchild?

Thankyou

Yun

Re: Grandparent visitation

Reasonable visitation may be granted to grandparents prior to adoption. After adoption visitation will cease. Act quickly to establish visitation and come to an agreement with the adoptive parents to have it continue after the adoption or apply to adopt the child yourselves. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
