Mr Gray is correct grand parent visitation rights are limited. This is especially true when both parents oppose grandparent visitation. Your best approach would be to approach your daughter and attempt mend fences with her. This would allow you to have some visitation. To attempt to gain visitation without your daughter's approval would be expensive. The attorney fees would probably be in excess of $20,000. You would also need to hire an expert witness to testify in your behalf. The cost of the expert would another $5,000.

See Family Code Section 3103. Grandparents have a very tough time if the parents oppose the visitation. Attorney fees range from about $150 per hour to $400 per hour, give or take. You are looking at possibly a lot of hours.
