Grandparents Rights - Child Custody
Can a grandparent get custody of a child when the mother dies and the father suddenly shows up wanting custody. The father was a drug user who has since become clean and had not been involved in the childs life for awhile.

yes, that can happen. it's also possible that the father will get full custody.
