Legal Question in Family Law in California

grandparents rights

My grandson is currently in foster care and because my son is currently facing criminal charges regarding this matter, I am not able to find out anything about my grandson (location, condition etc.) I am not seeking custody, I only want to know his condition and find out if I can visit him.

Re: grandparents rights

Contact the department of social services. Your son or the child's mother should know the name and telephone number of the social worker. Request a visit. If that does not result in your obtaining the information and a visit, contact an attorney for help.
