Legal Question in Family Law in California

Grandparents Rights

My nephew who has lived with me for the past 7 years is 14 now has ran away ..Hes at my parents house and i am very concerned because my stepfather molested me when i was a child . I dont want to drag my nephew back here because he additude wouldnt be any good and he wouldnt want to be here . He likes us but he just started high school and he wants freedom to drink and run around and i wont let him do that . My parents both work so at there house he has lots of freedom and another thing is they dont care about grades and finishing school. Most inportant is the molestation . Can the law tell him he cant live with them ?
