Legal Question in Family Law in California

Grandparents rights

Two people just adopted my x husband and are now fighting me for their own visitation scedule with my kids. I have full custody of the kids, and my x is a bipolar drug addict, with supervised visits. the people fighting me are the ones that supervise the visits. Do they have any standing, and how do I block them from winning?

Re: Grandparents rights

Grandparents have virtually no visitation rights. In those cases where grandparents get visitation there is a substantial record of visitation with the child. The fact that they adopted the ex will probably be seen as a rouse by the court unless there was some substantial contact with the children. Retaining an attorney to assist you in this matter will make this much easier for you to deal with.
