Legal Question in Family Law in California
Grandparents visitation rights
We all live in California and my daughter and I do not speak due to differences. She has 2 children Hannah 6 and Koston 2. Since December of 2005, she hasnt let me see my grandkids. She says shes not keeping them from me, but every time I call to see them they're always busy or ''next weekend'' excuse. When I call and ask to talk to Hannah, Hannah is always ''outside playing'' or ''in the bathtub''. The kids are very familiar with me and love me very much. Do I have any rights? Can she take those kids away from me just because her and I dont see eye to eye on things? Is there a judge that would grant me visitation?

Re: Grandparents visitation rights
not only do the court not grant grandparents visitation but you don't wnat to make your relationshiip with your daught worse than it already is by draggiing her into court. Whatever your difference you need to agree to disagree. Next tme tou call you might ask when would be a good tiime to speak to the children. If you can't get them on the phone send them cards and give your daughter a break.
