Legal Question in Family Law in California
My ex was granted a restraining order based on false allegations of abuse that she claims happened over a year prior. Is it legal to grant the order based on allegations that she claims took place a year prior to asking for the order?

If you believe the judge made an erroneous ruling, you have a right to request a motion to reconsider the ruling and other remedies. The judge has significant discretion on determining what's in the children's best interests. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options .
