Legal Question in Family Law in California

guardianship/custody

My sons were taken by cps. The children were moved from foster care into my mother's home.We went to court and after completing random drug testing with no problems, cps chose to close out their involvement in the matter. I however gave guardianship to my mother as I was in the process of an eviction and had no place to go. How do I regain custody of my three sons if guardianship was given to my mother nearly 2 years ago?
