Legal Question in Family Law in California

guidelines when being subpoena

I was served a subpoena- went to court on assigned date- never called to stand- never compensated for my time, parking or mileage- have been 'called back' for next month- am I still obligated to miss a day of work w/o compensation? Do I write to the civil court w/case #?

Re: guidelines when being subpoena

Contact the person who subpoenaed you. They are required to compensate you for your time. However, it's a nominal amount. I can't remember the exact amount, but it's less than $50.
