Legal Question in Family Law in California
I'm being harassed, once again, by my son's father's girlfriend. The most recent form of harassment was a phone call she made to my job. She called my job over 2 times and was asking my whereabouts. The clerk informed her I was out and she than asked to leave a voicemail message. On her voicemail message she indicated that her boyfriend's dick was burning and she needs to know if I had soemthing to do with it. I do not speak to this guy and have had nothing to do with him since she has vandalized my car in August. I got rid of my cell phone because she kept calling me and threatening to kill. I fear for my safety and that of my child. I have removed my child from this situation and now I pray she doesn't try to come after us (she indicated earlier this year she was going to kill me and my kids). My son's father has given this girl all my personal information and I do not know what to do. I have filed over 20 police reports in regards to this matter. This harassment has been going on since April 11, 2008. I use to react to their harassment now I just sit back and do nothing, as I realized their is nothing I can do to make them leave me alone.

Unless she commits a crime the police wont' help you. It sounds, though, like you can get a restraining order against both your ex and her. Violating the restraining order will be a crime that the police are supposed to respond to.
