Legal Question in Family Law in California

Harrassment from Sister-in-law

I am in the process of a divorce, I have moved out and my sister-in-law works for an Attorney's office and is using her resources to find where I work and live, and is sending me threatening text messages and a private investigator has shown up at my door right after, I moved again. What can I do to make this stop?

Re: Harrassment from Sister-in-law

If she is threatening you via text, you may have the ability to file for a protective order requiring her to stop threatening you and to stay away from you.

I would be happy to consult with you regarding the messages and your situation.
