health insurance during divorce

I am in the process of filing my divorce papers for a summary dissolution. I currently pay for my husbands health insurance through my employer. do i have to wait until my divorce is final to remove him from my policy or can i do it sooner?

You must maintain the medical insurance until the divorce is final or there is a written agreement.
