Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have heard that it is against federal law to have more than one person in a tanning room at one time, especially children. Is this true? And if so where can I find this documented? My ex takes my five year old in the tanning room with her and I'm afraid of what effects this could have on my child.

So it would be better to leave the 5 year old alone somewhere else with strangers?
