I am not sure exactly what you may be referring to. My guess is that the parent planning to move with the child may offer to pay the other parent for the costs of the child's travel thereby ensuring that the visitation with the non-moving parent will be uninterrupted.

There is no such fee, in fact the non-moving parent's child support payments to the moving parent usually increases. As Ms. Kock noted, there are sometimes travel expense adjustments made, or for other expenses as a condition of the move-away, but no"fee."
