Legal Question in Family Law in California
Have you ever heard of anyone suing an ex spouse for 'brain washing' or intentionally keeping the children away and out of touch with the other parent long enough to create a strong enough separation that the kids will not respond or acknowledge the other parent? I have not seen my children in 14 years. I do not know where they are, or how to contact them. Their mother is still stone walling any attempts of me contacting the children. This is no longer a court matter of child custody because the kids are in their 20s. Its just frustrating that the courts and the system allowed her to do this. All of my attempts legally and civilly have fallen on deaf ears until I had completely run out of recourses to peruse the matter any further.

It has been done and not aware of a successful case. Courts don't like these types of cases were former spouses sue each other over things like this. Also it sounds like any statute has likely run on your case if they're in their 20's.
