Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hello,

I'm already paying child support, actually almost half of my check each month. I'm not married to the mother. We have been together for about 6 years. About 6 months ago, having problems but started paying child support while I'm still with her. We have now broken up about 2 weeks. How can I get started to see me child?

If no paternity action has been filed, you should file one and also file a motion requesting custody and visitation. If the mother has filed a paternity action, you file your custody motion in that case action.
