Legal Question in Family Law in California

Help!!!We need a pro bono lawyer.

My sister is a single mother of 5 children. Her 7 year old is being molested by his father. She needs legal help to represent her in court. She is on a fixed income and can't afford much. The father is getting away with this because he can afford good lawyers and the judge is a jerk . Please if anyone can help we would appriciate it.

Go to your local bar association and see if they can provide you with assistance. In Orange County, we have a place called "Public Law Center." There is probably something similar in your county. Call around and find out. This is probably the wrong way to going about getting a pro bono attorney. There are a lot of people who say that they don't have money, but then we find out that they do. Places like the Public Law Center are set up to determine if someone is not earning enough money to afford an attorney, and then makes an appropriate referral.
